Four men arrested for Aggravated Robbery in Monticello
Four men have been arrested following a string of armed robberies in Monticello according to Monticello Police Chief Carlos Garcia.
According to a release from Garcia, the Monticello Police Department began an investigation into the armed robberies on June 13, 2024. Following the investigation arrest warrants were obtained for four individuals for two counts of Aggravated Robbery, two counts of Aggravated Assault, and two counts of Theft of Property.
18-year-old Jaqayvion Pittman of Monticello, 20-year-old Zydarian Miller of Monticello, 20-year-old Garland Mack of Monticello, and 20-year-old Kezeaveon Litzey of Pine Bluff were all arrested with the assistance of the Monticello Police Department, 10th Judicial Drug Task Force, Arkansas State Police, and Drew County Sheriff’s Office.
Several stolen items were recovered while executing a search warrant during the arrests.
All four men arrested received a $150,000 bond during their first court appearance.
